Robinho Lazaró wrapped up the 27th league title of his long and distinguished Football Manager career as his AC Milan side won Serie A in 2057/58. His next task was to keep developing the club's exciting young prospects and defend the Scudetto.
Season one in Italy had been a rather surprising success for Robinho Lazaró. While the 73-year-old Colombian hadn't won a trophy with AC Milan, his side came mightily close to champions Inter on the final day - securing the record-high points total without winning Serie A.
Throughout his 35-year Football Manager career, Robinho Lazaró had yet to walk into a club for which he had a genuine affinity. Sure, he liked Sporting and Newell's Old Boys but he'd never watched one of their matches before taking charge. AC Milan, however, was a completely different kettle of fish.
