Robinho Lazaró had made a brilliant start to life in Peru. His Alianza Lima side wrapped up the Torneo Apertura in blistering style by battering the league favourites in the Final and had progressed to the knockout stages of Copa Sudamericana.
Fresh from wrapping up the national title in his home nation, after two league wins and a cup success with América de Cali, there was no time for sentimentality as Robinho Lazaró was once again on the move.
