Thirteen seasons into his tenure at Retrô Futebol Clube Brasil, manager Robinho Lazaró was heralded as the mastermind behind the club's meteoric 20-year rise from non-existence to champions of South America. Lazaró joined in the celebrations across Camaragibe as seemingly the entirety of northeast Brazil took to the city's streets, amid parties that lasted for days.
